Most of the food we eat looks very delicious. It is the way the food looks that deceives us into believing that it could promote good health. It is not how delicious the food tastes or how attractive it looks that matters. What matters is the food value in it. Food value however, is destroyed through processing, exhaustion of soil nutrients, use of preservatives, pesticides etc. When we eat such food, we are exposed to a wide range of dangerous, degenerative diseases.
The unbalanced nature of the food people eat today causes overweight. This is because the food has more calories than food value. Food supplements could help correct this imbalance.
